It was a great pleasure to join the summer holidays at Berrio Mill. A look in our photo album brings the warm welcome, the perfect accommodation and the lovely countryside back to our mind. Even if the weather was dampish, Melyn Cottage was the best place for us to join the summer 2007. We are also very happy about our amiable neighbours at Gwenyn Cottage!  T still talks about the Ferguson drive. He is now even owner of a tractor – a Fend „Dieselroß“. Since one week we an extended family – Anton is born. Hope you both are doing well and the conversion of the Mill is in schedule  See you – with best regards A & E & T

Thank you so much.  We had a lovely peaceful week in Melyn which we loved.  We were so lucky with the weather but disappointed that it was never cold enough to light the wood burner!  We thoroughly enjoyed exploring the Callington area which we haven't been to before.  We did quite a bit of walking locally (phew those hills) and went further afield by car.  We also spent quite a few hours sitting in the sun on the balcony, listening to the Leat reading our books and quaffing a glass or two of wine.  A was a bit disappointed that there were no fish but we enjoyed the river anyway.

You certainly live in a beautiful place and we really enjoyed our stay.  You never know we may well visit again next year. Hope you had a good holiday too. With kind regards M B

Thank you so much for the use of your cottage during the rainy season. All joking aside we were absolutely thrilled with the cottage, your hospitality and the fabulous surroundings. G managed very well with her wheelchair both inside and outdoors, (she still wants to keep chickens despite having a mild shock from the electric fence), D may send you some of the photos that he took we’re hoping that he will show them to us one day. The holiday has left us with many fond memories and our granddaughter loves your honey by the way.

Dear Ivan and Carolyn. Thank you for making our adventures in Cornwall such  a wonderful experience. Due to a number of accidents / incidents on the M5,  it took us over 12 hours to get home, but it gave us plenty of time to recap  our many highlights. The cottage was absolutely idyllic, and the tractor  ride on our final day is a major talking point with the kids, and certainly  far outweighs the more well known local delights of the Lost Gardens of  Helligan and the Eden Project.

We've been home a couple of months now and getting the Cornwall call again.

We had such a great time in May that we want to come back and as it looks like summer might start November/December time we thought that might be a good time to visit. Please can you let me know if your two bedroom cottage is available any time in November please and how much it would be. Hope all your reconstructing is going OK and your honey project is a step nearer. Looking forward to hearing from you. J and I
